 Hi bloggers today well last couple of days we have been learning about Cybersmart and we have been making monsters and my monsters are meant to be a marshmallow monster I chose a marshmallow monster because I like marshmallows. Te wiki o te Reo Māori

Hi bloggers I am back to do another blog post and today we are learning about Maori language week

Yesterday at 12pm Rimu joined a LOT of other New Zealanders and took part in the World Record attempt for having the most people speak an endangered and indigenous language at the same time. 

This was called Māori Language Moment 2021 

and last year over 1 million moments were recorded.

A book that I've been reading.

I have been reading spirit animals on epic books it is about animals

in epic books spirit animals is an audiobook you can get them in books. The person who wrote this book was Brandon Mull. The thing I like about spirit animals is the books are so cool. You guys should get spirit animals. Out of the 3 animals at the bottom it would be the cheetah. look at this link to find the author.

Student summit 2021

Hi blogger 

today I'm going to be telling you about student summit.

I had a very fun day today and it's probably one of the best days of my life and if I had one wish  that would be coming back two students summit again. we were learning about things like canva, codey rockey, we video and google forms. It was really fun to day.I did 4 activities. it is a very big school we went to Hornby Primary School the rooms that I went to was the gym and room 5 and the gym again two times.

I learnt that I can use a lot of new websites in my learning and that I can work better. Going on trips like this is fun and worth it.

Winter Sports game.

Today I'm going to be telling you about winter sports.I feel really really excited On this Friday, I'm going to be going to winter sports to play soccer. There are 12 people in our team.  I play soccer in Yaldhurst Model School and we play against another school. My favourite part of winter sport and soccer is running around and having fun.

Camp Series Post 3 - Raft Building

Today I am going to be writing about my Raft Building. We did this on camp. We used wood, and tyre tubes and rope to make a raft. We tested it to see if it floated and ours did. We were in the middle of the water and had to come back because we had to put our life jackets on.

Camp Series - Post 2 - Waterhole.

Hi Bloggers,

Welcome to my second camp blog post. I will be telling you about the waterhole which favourite activity. There were four rope swings for us to use and try. I loved dropping into the cold water. It was so such fun. Now it is time to show you some photos. So check out my DLO. Please enjoy.

Camp series Post 1 - Flying Kiwi

Hi Bloggers I'm going to be sharing with you about an activity from my camp called Flying Kiwi. We went to Waipara Adventure Centre last week and had heaps of fun. 

Flying Kiwi is where you stand in the middle with a harness on and other people lift you up with a rope and you fly into the air.

I learnt that you go really high with this activity and that it was fun and that there is no need to be scared.

Cybersmart Challenge #1

This morning we have completed the Cybersmart Challenge #1 from the Cybersmart Challenge Blog. It was really fun.

  

    

 

Pool School

 For the last two weeks we have been swimming at our school pool. The swimming instructors came along to help us. They taught us how to get in the pool safely, how to get in a boat safely and how to hold onto a lifejacket to help others and how to breathe under a boat.✌

This is my group in the boat. I am on the far side of the water on the right end.

I have learnt how to be safe on a boat in the water. I felt excited everyday for my lesson. Next time I am looking forward to the boat coming back. The thing I will remember the most about this year's swims safe lesson is doing the whirlpool.
