Camp Series Post 3 - Raft Building

Today I am going to be writing about my Raft Building. We did this on camp. We used wood, and tyre tubes and rope to make a raft. We tested it to see if it floated and ours did. We were in the middle of the water and had to come back because we had to put our life jackets on.

I learnt how to tie knots and that we should help more because the adults did a lot.

Camp Series - Post 2 - Waterhole.

Hi Bloggers,

Welcome to my second camp blog post. I will be telling you about the waterhole which favourite activity. There were four rope swings for us to use and try. I loved dropping into the cold water. It was so such fun. Now it is time to show you some photos. So check out my DLO. Please enjoy. 

Reflection - the water hole smelt like stinky fish and it wasn't that cold after all.

Camp series Post 1 - Flying Kiwi

Hi Bloggers I'm going to be sharing with you about an activity from my camp called Flying Kiwi. We went to Waipara Adventure Centre last week and had heaps of fun. 

Flying Kiwi is where you stand in the middle with a harness on and other people lift you up with a rope and you fly into the air.

I learnt that you go really high with this activity and that it was fun and that there is no need to be scared.
